A tasty way to maintain tolerance


...keeps the allergy away


Now that Abi has reached the 'maintenance' phase of her pistachio OIT, it struck me that having 'a couple of nuts' three times a week could be made, well, a little more exciting. Enter, Paul Hollywood...


I found Mr Hollywood's simple, six ingredient [and no fat] recipe online for biscotti, and merely substituted the hazelnuts with the two nuts that Abi needs to eat regularly: almonds and pistachios.


35 minutes later, this was the crunchy and delicious result!




Delicious simplicity: flour, sugar, baking powder, eggs, orange zest and the nut[s] of your choice


I'm now thinking I need to maintain my own, ahem, biscotti tolerance too... I'll put the kettle on.
