On board the Eurostar to Lille

Three months after our initial video consultation, we travelled by Eurostar to Lille. Well, in the longer version of the story, it was actually BRUSSELS we travelled to on the Eurostar. By mistake. Something to do with a (cough) misunderstanding of when to disembark from the Eurostar at Lille. Personally I blame Eurostar (cough cough). How was I to know that stopping at Lille meant we'd stopped at Lille? Honestly, I'm no mind reader...
The extra fun surprise of that day was discovering the Eurostar could not stop at Lille on its return journey due to security measures, and so we had a delightful lengthy detour in Brussels station, awaiting the TGV.
